Daffodil Lady

Morning All

Sunday and cakes are in the oven cooking, bit of an overcast day today
but hopefully will get out in the garden
later.

Here is my card for today....
So here it is

Using inks that were still on my smoothies I made loads of circles
on a white sheet of card. Splogging circles all over - one does not
realise how much ink is still on the Smoothies until you do this. !!

There is a special name for this technique but I can not remember it!

I then used the Clarity stencil Daffodils with the center attached.

and used yellow distress inks to blend the colours

Added a dash of orange for the centers of the flowers

Removed the center part

Placed the Daffodils stencil over again and used brush loaded with yellow to colour
the outside edge of the oval shape.

Used the Lady stencil to make the inside and used up inks on one of my pads
Waste not want not. .....

Added sparkle pen to the dress to highlight the texture of the dress.

This photo give a bit better showing of the sparkle :)

Used a yellow pen around the edge to bring the colours together

Final part mounted onto a yellow card blank made from
as sheet of card.

Would like to enter it for the following and hope it meets the criteria
Daffodils remind me of Easter.

Challenges

I was going to enter it for the Clarity Stamp challenge 37 but think its
too similar to the DT image.......so will get my thinking cap on to
make something different.

Hopefully.... still have a 2 weeks to get something done.

Thank you for popping in

Hope you have a lovely day and full of everything you wish for.

Its the Spring Equinox today so Summer must be on its way.

  1. Beautiful feminine card Pen, lovely colours and lovely background with the circles, it's called bokea, not correct spelling, somebody else will give right spelling. Love the lady, a brilliant stencil, Kate x
