Purple glade

Hiya everyone - how are you today?

We have had a lovely rain shower which will do the garden
the power of good but not so good for the slugs  !!!

Here is my card for today.....

missed the Butterfly challenge with this one but hay ho
others I can enter :)

I have used a strong colour for the background raspberry distress inks
used a stencil to colour the sun.

And stamped using Clarity Stamps of various grasses in the foreground.

Added sparkle to the seed heads.

Topped off with butterflies from my stash  - had to have an odd number and
a few birds flying across the sun.

Added a sentiment.

Mounted onto red card stock from that increased stash of bibs and bobs
onto  card blank. Now the card blank was the wrong colour so I
used up the raspberry inks on my smoothie to colour the card blank.
Hate to waste that ink that is always left.

Sorry the photo does not look good today, think those shinny butterflies are the
problem .... but you get the idea. :)

I would like to enter it into the following

Challenges

Now onto

It is also time for WOYWW as it is Wednesday so here is mine.

Just trying to choose the ribbon I need for the next project.
Also 3 cans of spray which arrived yesterday.

Going to give the Fabric spray a go - to mend some trousers that have
holes in the knees !!! Wonder if it is as good as they say.

We will see.

Thank you for popping in

I'm glad it's rained too, my garden was like concrete so at least the weeding will be easier tomorrow πŸ˜ƒ

  7. Hi Pen, I know what you mean about some shiny things taking bad photos. I keep having trouble with anything with glitter on it, it seems the camera can't get the focus right! The fabric spray sounds interesting, you'll have to let us know how it goes. Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #2 xxx
